View and edit global fonts

Why use global fonts and colors?

When you’re building a website, your fonts and colors should be the same across your entire site to improve the overall look and reinforce brand identity. If fonts and colors vary among pages or parts, your users can become confused. This can negatively impact user retention and may cost you sales.

Access your site’s global fonts

To view your site’s global fonts:

  1. In the Elementor Editor, go to Site Settings. The Site Settings panel opens.

  2. Click Global Fonts. The list of global fonts appears. The canvas displays the different types of fonts.

Note: To view the font previews in the canvas, plugin users will need to activate the preview feature from the WordPress dashboard. 

Edit your site’s global fonts

To edit the global fonts:

  1. Under Custom Fonts, hover over the Edit () icon.
    • To delete the global font, click the delete icon (UHL8IeV1WTSODOY TFIBqqb3Mr4wl3mKh0mC2EYi VsBSup2OPU45YnTykt2zpA jdgktHpQttKG I2Hsl7m6 View and edit global fonts 33). You cannot delete any of the system fonts.
    • To reorder the the global fonts, click the arrows icon (77ABySA gL9Em9IfaD NmOKYf2yNTgSzsuysBWve9lWP2av4uL8i3dYGgnecDZPxhAkmkSut 1d1FzjOpWORrhwwceFdxo52ZAATVLW6XGsejr FP5tNnBDn5145lbuwop7Djahr2qavcMAuDKcrQ View and edit global fonts 35)
    • To change the font typography, click the Edit icon (d3VE02LEhYWbU9W0gQVxtN3RMyP tX37EGAyDhpGxhBqI XxaDKq YA1nHgGtdF5XV0lHy View and edit global fonts 37). See Typography

  2. Click Save Changes.

To change the name of the global font:

  1. Click the name of the global font.
  2. Enter the name of the new global font you added.

  1. Click Add Style. A New Item box appears.

  2. Enter a name for the the new font. See Typography for more information.
