Our main goal at Elementor is to create the fastest, most advanced website builder for WordPress.
To achieve this, we make sure it is based on the latest technology available.
Here are the system requirements you need in order to use Elementor.
(If you are not sure whether or not your server supports this, contact your host).
WordPress 6.3 or Greater
Elementor works with WordPress version 6.3 or greater.
PHP 7.4 or Greater
MySQL 5.6 or Greater
MySQL version 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB version 10.5 or greater.
WP Memory Limit
WP Memory limit of 256 MB (Elementor and Elementor Pro only), 512 MB recommended, 768 MB for best performance.
Note: These requirements are for Elementor. If you are using additional plugins on your site that also have minimum requirements such as WooCommerce, you may need to increase your memory to 512 MB to help avoid loading issues. As web technology develops, it’s important for users to keep their websites up-to-date. Older browsers may not support the full set of features provided by Elementor. Following is a chart of the systems that are supported by Elementor:

Note for Elementor hosted websites: To help secure your website, Elementor requires browsers have a minimum TLS version 1.2 in order to visit Elementor hosted websites. This means that some old browsers may have trouble accessing these sites. If this is an issue for you, contact support to adjust the TLS settings. Elementor Cloud websites with custom domain names are unaffected by this change.
Device
You cannot edit with Elementor on mobile phones and tablets at this time. You can only edit pages with Elementor on desktop computers.
Servers
If your website is hosted by WP Engine, you might need to add SSL to your website to avoid saving issues.
If you use SiteGround or GoDaddy, make sure that they modify the SubstituteMaxLineLength of your server for you
X-Frame options
It has to be set to “same origin” to avoid editing issues. Please ask your host to do this for you.
CSP: frame-ancestors
Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors none
setting breaks Elementor Editor because it blocks the <iframe id=”elementor-preview-iframe”>
that is needed for the Editor preview. This should be set to Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors 'self'
to avoid editing issues. Please ask your host to do this for you.
PHP Z-Lib Extension
It is preferable to have PHP Zlib extension enabled on your server. Please ask your host to enable this for you, if it is not.
